Bluefin is a recent MIT spin-off that specializes in the
design, manufacture and operation of Autonomous Underwater
Vehicles (AUVs). As the name implies, Bluefin's AUVs are small
robotic submarines that autonomously gather data and carry
out tasks in the open ocean. Gathering data in the ocean with
AUVs will increase our understanding of this fascinating part
of our planet, enabling us to manage rather than exploit this
global resource.
